adding Reference Libraries in Eclipse

How to add a .jar file as a Reference Library in Eclipse - Package Explorer. My purpose: I transferred a few classes from one project to another which depended on .jar - Reference Library. Eclipse threw an error: " .... cannot be resolved to a variable"
