The shocking clip ends with the two employees falling into the mattress towers, causing them to topple over as Bonanno screams. She regains her composure to add: "We'll never forget." The advert was recorded by horrified viewer Jenée Lewis who shared it on social media, sparking a widespread backlash against the store. The company issued an apology on its Facebook page on Thursday. In a post, Miracle Mattress wrote: "We are very sorry we have offended you. "Our staff is full of military and some relatives have passed away due to 9/11. We are promoters of peace and love." The apology was followed by an open letter from the company's owner, Mike Bonanno father of manager Cherise. He claimed the social media video was posted on Facebook without his knowledge or approval.
