I call up a tech support scam and talk to someone who is new to their job. I end up bricking their computer by convincing them to set a Syskey, BIOS, and hard drive password. --- EDIT: Looks like I need to do less controversial calls for my next video.. --- There are occasional high-pitched beeps in the recording. It sounds like the low battery warning of a smoke detector. These beeps were part of the call, and came from the scammer's end. The scammer in this call seems to be associated with Raheem from Lewis's Tech's live stream on August 20, 2016. Both the high-pitched beeps and Raheem's name were heard In this call. The details of Raheem being promoted to a high-level position at his company and running a domain controller match up. The call recording was edited to make it easier to listen to. I edited: Cuts - cutting out silence and boring parts Level normalization - reduces volume spikes Noise removal - removal of background static/hiss (also known as "comfort noise" on VoIP phones) Censoring - Passwords were censored to prevent the scammers from unlocking the computer if they find this video
